Snow day one

Well we had the first bit of snow for this season, and it was lovely, but melted after one day! The dogs are plodding along, although some worse than others. Max pulled a muscle in his shoulder, so is limping. Buddy is losing his muscle on his back legs and is sitting down more, so I have added joint supplements. The fleas are dying in the cold weather so less scratching, but Max also has ear mites. Here comes the apple cider vinegar.

Lost and going crazy, want to come?

What a tumultuous time we have had lately. As you can see I scalped two of the kids, this was due to fleas being a pain to get rid of and blunt clippers lol. The biggest issue was that I was refused my green card due to not removing marriage conditions back in 2006. I also lost a wonderful new job at Rides transit, a community bus company in Harrisburg. I lost that due to the green card refusal and now we have to do the application for residency all over again! They want about $2500 to restart this all over, and I can not work until I get authorisation. Talk about up shit creek! So I am angry, lost, devastated and tired of trying to find legal help anywhere close by! I am mentally exhausted and an emotional wreck. Thank goodness I have David, my family and the fur babies or I would be in the nuthouse!!!

Nope nope nope!!!

Well, so far summer has sucked! Have not been able to clear the pool and had a high water bill, so it is not being opened this year. My health and sanity have been rotten all this month and I can not get rid of fleas on the fur babies! Buddy has hot spots bad, along with Lissa, Maxy is losing fur due to being allergic to the fleas and now Buddy is too. Not a happy camper here.Because I cut my hours, we can not afford the usual $300 every 3 months for flea treatment. Best option to date is coconut oil all over kids and diatomaceous earth in the house and garden. It has been too hot to garden so we have a bloody jungle outside also. Immigration still have not pulled their finger out with my green card even with a congressman on their ass. In short, I am over July!!! On a high note, Olyver MacDonald, my first great nephew arrived! In love from afar.

Spring is here...NOT

Well it is supposed to be spring but so far we have had snow, sleet, rain and cold temps. The flowers are trying to bloom and the lawn is starting to grow. My health still sucks. Poor Buddy is aching from arthritis and now may have other issues, so it's probably vet time again. I am happy that I will be seeing my sister Jan this month, I am meeting her in NY! I am working part time now due to my health but am hoping it will improve once the weather gets better. The fur babies are all antsy with being stuck inside so much but other than Buddy's problems are healthy. David is bored and is ready to break out and start doing fun things.

We are family

It has been a cold, sickly winter. The fur babies all made it but have some allergy issues we need to address. I am still fighting to get my green card, at this rate the illegal immigrants will get their citizenship before I do! Likewise, I still have to wait for the job at Blue Cross Blue Shield because I need the green card. My doctor changed my meds and the pain from the fibro and arthritis have lessened, I am hoping for good! We'll see.
