Well what a bad few months we've had. My Dad was sick with prostate cancer and after a short but very upsetting 2 months home nursing, passed away in February. It was a very traumatic time for my family, but we are slowly healing. Although we knew Dad was dying, it was still a shock. One happy thing happened in that time, my nephew Vaughan was born, and Dad got to live long enough to find that out. Vaughan was born premature and ailing but is now a strong healthy and chubby little man.
David and I both have health issues this year. David has apparently got a problem with an arterial blockage and will be having an angiogram soon to see if there is one and if it can be freed using a stent. I have recently suffered with ankle, knee, neck and back pain and have been referred to a rheumatologist to see if it is Psoriatic Arthritis. Which is not good, as my medication is affecting my liver function in the higher dosage needed to control it. So when I see the specialist in June, hopefully we can find a management plan that is better than brufen and panadiene forte!
On a good note, David has been getting some work lately and will be doing a radio play, a short film (backpackers) and hopefuly a commercial.
The furbabies are all well, as is Collie cocky. Although the little beggars are being quite cheeky at times and testing my boundaries to see if they get told off for things like stealing socks...My babies keep me levelled at most times. Hopefully the other half of this year will be brighter...at least the world didn't end on May 21st!!!!! ;)
